1. Calendar Although I doubt about my talent in designing, I worked for some of the designing goods in KMLA. The reason why I was selected as a worker is that I was the rare case of knowing how to use InDesign and Photoshop among the students. My biggest project I've done in KMLA is the calendar that most of the KMLA people are currently using. 2. Archery As a member of archery club, I spent about a year to learn how to shoot arrow properly. Accepting several bruises and bloodsheds, I've devoted myself to the training, expecting my accuracy and strength to improve like human muscle works. In 11th grade, Teammates and I attended the archery club competition with own bows and arrows brought. During the rehearsal, however, I pulled the string, and my bow broke in half right away. I just calmly shrugged and asked for another bow afterward. I didn't expect such vain ending. 3. Looking around and Picking up One of my habit since elementary school is to look around the plac

Every person I know agrees with the fact that the World is not only organized with one perspective or topic but quilted and weaved with the variety of such substances. This is the reason why every inquiry appears among the topics, while each controversy adds public conflicts. Especially, one's different perspective on a topic establishes a serious difference among the group members, like the Bowdoin College in Maine and Vassar College in New York. Their main difference which Malcolm Gladwell points out is the different quality of food in their cafeteria.   What Gladwell emphasizes, is that the quality of food indicates the ratio of a student aid of the corresponding college. As he supports his opinion by stating the ratio of economical usage on both menu and curriculum of both colleges. He stated that under the limited quantity of finance, quality of food and curriculum inverses, as Bowdoin and Vassar shows the opposite case of finance distribution; Bowdoin, 19th rank by Forbes,

My idea toward the Episode 04 - Carlos doesn't remember

The story of two Carlos in Episode 04 depressed me in two ways: one was about their harsh lifetime, and the other was my sense of shame compared to them. Their lives were so harsh and hard that one could not attend to universities due to the lack of early experiences and information. The lecture quoted this situation as "being late," contrasting the preference of rich class students like academies and additional education.   How come even the country of equality, United States of America cannot corroborate the fact that everybody is equal in the educational state? What consequently happens in U.S.A is that the doors of Universities are simultaneously opening toward the ones like Carlos, whom could not expose themselves toward the ideal environment for learning. One of the astonishing facts is that even in this shadows, "gifted" ones are gifted that their overall abilities are higher in some cases when compared to the students with attendance in academies.   I b

Ant Hive creating a Spider Web   As more and more devices and systems were invented throughout the world history, chances of social connection between people had been skyrocketed. This "link" between social members had contributed to several developments, like the variety of paradigms had stacked up scientific facts. However, I believe that this rate-increasing  phenomenon of social links generates a giant spider web that strangles "radical dreamers", or in other words, "enlightened ones." Wilt Chamberlain, after scoring a hundredth point in one game   Malcolm Gladwell explained individuals' 'Social Threshold' with the examples of sports figures. He listed Wilt Chamberlain, and Rick Barry; the two most famous NBA players who used the under-throwing method at foul throws. Excluding the physical difference between two figures, Chamberlain abjured his under-throw, while Barry kept his "Sissy" form. Gladwell points out that

Moral licensing , also known as a “gate of chance” is not operated by the major minorities who clenches the baton, but operated by the Silenced Majorities, who create a series of fog which contains serious pressure. Spontaneous access can only be possible if and only if ones with closed mouth agree to the fact that minority in one field do not create any discord but reconciliation.  Elizabeth Thompson, Lady Butler ,  Calling the Roll After An Engagement, Crimea , 1874,  Royal Collection   What I want to add in this "idea" is my theory of upkeep, also named as "Public Pendulum". Unless the topic is controversial in a lopsided way, general public's stance toward such topic remains amid. The way to create a civil movement through such society is to "push the pendulum" toward the side which they want. This can be depicted with the example of Elizabeth Thomson. The door had been opened toward the first woman artist to be in the Black hall. T
